Grief at School: Training Guide & Resource Manual: is a dual resource. The Training Guide section, which provides a 4-session curriculum, is designed to be used as an instructional learning format for school-based professionals. The Resource Manual section includes instructions and tools for understanding grieving students at each grade level, assessing the needs and resources of the whole school, developing and implementing a school-wide crisis plan, and creating school-based programs for grieving students.
Grief at School Booklet: This 16-page booklet is a handy resource for educators. In summary form, it aids in understanding children's grief across developmental stages and offers suggestions for helping a child who is grieving. Grief at School DVD: features renowned author and trainer Helen Fitzgerald leading a children's grief group, demonstrating how to introduce therapeutic activities in the classroom using stories, games, writing, and art.
Grief at School: A Self-Study Toolkit for School-Based Professionals: this CEU-approved course consists of a CD-ROM with lectures by experts and our Grief at School: A Training Guide & Resource Manual that has a 4-session curriculum for in-service training and offers creative ideas about classroom activities.
